Choosing Lace by Wear and Handling
Lace choice starts with the wearer, the fitting method and the retailer’s support model. A fine-looking sample is only one part of a purchase decision.
Before you place an order
Compare HD and Swiss lace samples on the intended skin tone under daylight. Handle each sample carefully and inspect the edge, parting and attachment area. A supplier name alone does not establish lace strength or visibility.
Build the approval record
Write down the lace panel dimensions, tone and cap construction. Ask how the lace should be trimmed and handled during fitting. A 13x4 description refers to a nominal panel area; confirm the supplied measurements.
Make the next order easier
Keep the approved lace sample with the order sheet. Evaluate incoming batches against that reference instead of comparing photographs taken under different lighting.
